Joseph B. Hall
Principal
Email: jhall@qbens.com

Joe has been involved in the health care industry since joining Oxford Health Plans in 1994. He was an integral part of the sales and marketing team that developed the products when managed care was first introduced to the Connecticut marketplace in the early nineties. Joe was a lead member of the sales team that created Oxford’s business base and explosive sales growth during his tenure. His success can be attributed to his innovative, strategic, and consultative approach to finding solutions to his client’s cost and coverage challenges.

In 1998, Joe moved into management overseeing Oxford’s Executive Accounts Division in Connecticut. He worked directly with fortune 500 companies as well as the consulting community, to provide unique product approaches for these large and demanding customers. He was responsible for sales and retention of many of Oxford’s largest accounts (Verizon, Pitney Bowes, Peoples Bank, UBS, Xerox, Wal-Mart, to name a few). His book of business generated annual revenues in excess of $40 million. Joe spent most of his time in the underwriting department negotiating deals for his experience rated and self-funded clients. His ability to balance his corporate responsibilities with the need to cut health care costs for his clients became his forte.

In 2004, Joe Joined Quantum Benefits as Vice President of Sales. Within two years, Joe brought in more than 100 group clients helping Quantum exceed all previous sales goals. In 2006, Joe became full partner in Quantum Benefits. His vast knowledge of underwriting remains his strongest asset.

Joe sits on the Strategic Broker Advisory Board for United Health Care. This position enables him to continue to develop products for the marketplace at a time when companies need change the most.

Joe has been a licensed Life & Health Producer in CT, NY & NJ for over 15 years. He received his BSBA from the University of Denver.

When not working, Joe enjoys sailing, ice hockey, and working on wooden boats. He currently resides in Norwalk, CT with his wife Lisa and twin sons, Carter & Logan.
